JOHN KUHN

Briefly: Originally signed with the Arena League's San Jose SaberCats but later signed with Pittsburgh.  On the Steelers Practice Squad when the team won Super Bowl XL.  Made his NFL debut in November 2006 

John was a two-year starter at running back for the Red Raiders and holds 27 school records and four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) records.  He finished his career with 4,685 yards rushing, 910 carries, 53 touchdowns, 5,300 all-purpose yards and 26 games with at least 100 yards rushing, all school records.  He was a three-time First-Team All-PSAC Western Division selection.  After graduation, he originally signed with the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League as a RB/LB.  Before joining San Jose, he was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers.  As a Practice Squad player, he was a member of the Steelers Super Bowl XL championship team in 2005.  Signed to the Steelers active roster in November 2006 after beginning the season on the Practice Squad.
